Virgin Hotels New Orleans

Obsessed with this hotel. The coolest most unique , major vibes 4 star I’ve ever come across in America. There is something to look at & admire in every nook. You can tell design & aesthetics were prioritized. It felt like an experience <3 wish we could have stayed longer. The cafe at the lobby was so nice to grab coffee after a great workout in the AMAZING gym. Like brand new equipment with VIEWS. Literally one of the best hotels ive come across in America. Best part is it’s major dog friendly!

Had an enjoyable time at Virgins Hotel in New Orleans. It definitely has the Virgin touch, with unique New Orleans decor and flair. The room was spacious with an ample amount outlets and mirrors. I appreciated the shower, toilet, and sink were all separated. The rooftop pool and bar were lively (pool was heated which was nice during the winter). The location was nice, 20-30 walk to both the French quarters and Garden District. The area felt walkable and safe even at nighttime.

Just want to personally thank all the staff at this hotel. They made our first experience in NOLA an amazing one. Everyone was kind, considerate and so very helpful. From the front desk to the valet service EVERYONE was helpful. They made our stay truly a pleasure and our Christmas experience in New Orleans unforgettable. Also, it was just a fun place to stay! They have live music in lounge, DJs on the roof top, super cool cafe for your morning coffee and an incredible restaurant that delivered every time. We were fortunate enough to be able to have our Christmas dinner here and it was fantastic. Thank you to everyone who was involved in making our experience in NOLA a Christmas trip of a lifetime!

Incredible hotel - the on premises amenities are so nice you almost don't want to leave. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, and were more than willing to provide recommendations to help you avoid tourist traps. The Common's Club dinner we had during a flash flood was spectacular (big shout out to Jason & Owen the bartenders). Great location, within walking distance of the French Quarter, but far enough away that you're not stuck in the nonsense. Roof top pool was 10/10

Stylish sleep and lounge in hotel. Would definitely stay at other Virgin hotel again. Location excellent as away from the noise of Canal Street but still close walk to everything including transit access and many good restaurants. Stylish and unique. Love, love love the dressing room doors, which add to the quiet and privacy. Lighting was wonderful. Bed comfortable but would prefer a non fabric headboard for hygiene. Also appreciated the toilet separate from shower. Great design. My teen and I moved from a queen to a double queen after two days when my spouse arrived. Surprised the hotel didn’t offer to put us in an upgrade to the double for the entire stay. Actually, it was good to experience the room differences. A few minor issues when speaking w staff (eg not able to answer easy hotel questions) but overall the staff were very nice and professional. Door staff excellent and always friendly. My teen was disappointed that she could not swim in the evening (yes in December) when we got in each day because pool opens only at 10am and no minors allowed past 7pm, which was when we usually got in. We came back in the day one day so she could swim. I understand that you don’t want kids in an adult evening environment though, especially because they are not all as well behaved as mine. Anyhow, pool was warm and she enjoyed the experience. The negatives were: I didn’t like that I emailed the hotel prior to our arrival and never heard back. Also I really resent the amenity fee, a hidden fee when looking at options . Wifi should be free and so should the pool. I’d rather not have either and save the money. The fee simply makes your per room night appear less than competitors but it is not. And you don’t know about until you are booking. Surprise! Things I’d like to see for a future visit: put a note or send an email to let guests know that service info are on the TV. My teen turned in the TV so I found the info but could have easily missed it. And return emails, especially when the guest has booked. Would return and recommend. Please open in Toronto.
